Sausage Fest

Believe it or not, there's a boy under that bag! He likes to play with my shopping bags. Probably didn't help that I carried him around once... :)

So we went to Sausage Fest here in town. The just have lots of booths with games and food. A lot of the food is German/type inspired. Though we actually didn't eat any of the food food, we did eat some of the dessert food :) I found cotton candy (yea!!) and Amie got a rope licorice (also yummy, but I only need one sweet treat :)). Zach got a kick out of playing the games, which were relatively cheap. We didn't have our camera, though, so the pictures came out pretty poor from our phones. Here's Z "fishing" for some toys.

This game was pretty fun. You had to toss the poker chips onto different color squares to get a certain amount of points. Some of the games were a little more advanced, but this one he could do pretty easily. There was also another game where we shot a cork gun to try to knock over a ball. I helped Z with that, though there's no way one can aim and hold a small child. But we almost did knock one over! Z got some pretty decent toys (for the price) - a small ball and small car, among other things.

Zach also wanted a tattoo, so he got one of those.

Amanda had blue cotton candy...which turned her whole mouth blue!!

Here's a pic of Z and Eva eating pancakes. That kid is such a mooch, he'll ask to eat anything someone has!

About this time Jason started working at a place that made pole buildings - detached garages type things. It didn't pay well, but it paid and got him out of the house. Something to keep him busy, and keep us from spending all of our savings. One day J told Z that maybe he could come visit him at work, or go with him. One thing Z does not do is understand the concept of maybe :). So when J left without him, he was seriously bummed! Poor little guy just wanted to hang out with his dada, but didn't understand construction zones really aren't the best place for kids. Though he did understand that J went to work to make money...or as Z put it, "muuuhney."
